This project is a piece of Afrofuturism that my mentor Allen Turner calls Sankofa Seasons: Matter of Black Lives. This is both an interactive social-emotional project that lives in a VR space and a database of stories that can be accessed as pure audio files.

My contribution to Sankofa Seasons involves level design and environment art. The landscape of the world I created is inspired by a personally nostalgic forest preserve by my home. This space is decorated with a variety of environments I designed to be visually stimulating and emotionally charged. I worked directly with my mentor and some of his students to bring my vision of my level to life.
